Major government bank State Bank of India (SBI) has once again extended the last date for investing in its popular fixed deposit scheme. For elderly farmers or common citizens having an account in the State Bank of India, there is an opportunity to make huge guaranteed savings by investing money.
SBI has asked the elderly to invest in WeCare, an FD scheme that gives higher interest rates (best return FD scheme). The bank has extended the deadline for investment in the WeCare FD Scheme. Along with this, SBI has offered its customers to earn profits by investing in its special FD Amrit Kalash. Investors can earn a profit of Rs 78 thousand in 13 months.

State Bank of India has extended the deadline to apply for SBI WeCare. This FD scheme gives the highest interest rate to senior citizens for a period of 5 to 10 years. SBI WeCare was launched to protect the income of senior citizens by offering additional interest.

Last date to invest in SBI WeCare
For your information, let us tell you that SBI's WeCare FD Scheme was ending on 31 March 2024. Now the deadline for investment in this scheme has been extended to 30 September 2024. This FD scheme is available for new deposits as well as renewal of mature deposits.
SBI Amrit Kalash FD Scheme
State Bank of India (SBI) has also extended the investment deadline for the Amrit Kalash FD Scheme from 31 March 2024 to 30 September 2024. According to the bank's website, an interest rate of 7.10% is being given on the Amrit Kalash FD scheme with a tenure of 400 days. Whereas, senior citizens are being given an interest rate of 7.60% on a tenure of 400 days.
In this way, you will get a profit of Rs 78 thousand
Suppose, if senior farmers or senior citizens (FD scheme for senior citizens) invest Rs 10 lakh in SBI's FD with a tenure of 400 days i.e. about 13 months, then they will get a guaranteed return of 7.60 percent.
Investment amount – 10,00,000
Timeframe – 400 days (13 months 5 days)
Interest rate- 7.60 percent, interest amount Rs 78,194.
In this way, by adding the interest amount along with the principal amount deposited, the total amount received in 13 months and 5 days will be Rs 10,78,194.
