Maintenance Charges: The new financial year will start from 1st April. Many things will change from the new financial year. State Bank of India has increased the annual maintenance charges of debit cards which will be applicable from April 1.

SBI Debit Card Annual Maintenance Charges: State Bank of India has made a major change in its annual maintenance charge. Actually, the bank has revised the charges of some debit cards. These charges will be applicable from the new financial year. The annual charges of Classic, Silver, Global and Contactless Debit Cards along with Yuva, Gold and Combo Debit Cards will be revised from April 1. Along with this, the maintenance fees of Platinum Debit Card will also increase.

The Reserve Bank of India is not only increasing the annual maintenance charge in the new financial year but has also increased the fees on new debit cards. That is, if you do not have a debit card or you want to get a debit card again, then now you will have to pay more money for it.

How expensive has the debit card become?

Annual maintenance fee for Classic, Silver, Global and Contactless debit cards has increased from Rs 125 to Rs 200. Apart from this, you will also have to give GSAT.

Maintenance charges of Yuva, Gold, Combo Debit Card, My Guard have increased from Rs 175 to Rs 200. Along with this you will also have to pay GST.

Annual maintenance charge of SBI Platinum Debit Card will increase from Rs 250 to Rs 325. Apart from this, GST will also have to be paid separately.

The annual maintenance charge of Pride Premium Business Debit Card has increased from Rs 350 to Rs 425. Along with this, GST will have to be paid separately.

State Bank of India has said that the reward points received on rent payment will not be available from April 15. This will also be changed from April 1st.

Apart from debit cards, there will be changes in other things also from April 1. Many things change in the new financial year.
