Today's times are such that we use UPI even for small needs. It is very easy to use UPI i.e. Unified Payment Interface, also known as UPI PIN. If we ever forget our UPI PIN or someone comes to know our PIN, then the entire account becomes empty.
In this situation, we have only one option and that is to change the UPI PIN. Resetting the UPI PIN is very easy. For this, you need to follow some steps. Let's know its complete process.
What is the complete process of resetting a UPI PIN?
For 1, first, you need to go to your phone payment application (PhonePe, Paytm, Google Pay, etc…).
2. In this app, you will see your profile on the top left side.
3. Go to the payment app and tap on your profile.
4. Here you have to select the bank account option for which you want to change your UPI PIN.
5. Now you need to go to the UPI PIN section and here you will find the reset option.
6. After tapping on the reset option, you need to use your debit card.
7. Here you have to enter the last 6 digits and the valid date of your debit card.
7. When you enter the 6 digits and the date, you need to click verify.
8. After that, an OTP will be sent to your mobile number, which needs to be entered and processed.
9. Now you will get the option to create a new UPI PIN and confirm it.
You can change it like this
You can change your UPI PIN even if you don't have a debit card. For this, you need to go to your payment app profile and open the UPI and linked bank account menu. After that select bank account and then tap on Change PIN. Then tap if I remember my old UPI PIN. After that, you enter your old PIN and set a new PIN.
