
The country's largest lender State Bank of India i.e. SBI gives people ample opportunities to earn through its many schemes. The bank offers different special terms deposit schemes like SBI Amrit Kalash, SBI Wecare, SBI Green Deposit, and SBI Sarvottam for regular customers and senior citizens. These special deposits differ depending on the tenure, amount, and investor. The special thing is that two of these schemes are also going to be closed soon. Let us also tell you how and how much income the schemes of SBI are providing to the investors.
SBI Amrit Kalash
SBI Amrit Kalash Special FD gives higher returns to investors compared to regular SBI FD. The last date to invest in Amrit Kalash is March 31, 2024. This scheme gives a return of 7.10 percent to the investors and the tenure of the scheme is 400 days. Whereas senior citizens get 0.50 percent more return i.e. 7.60 percent in this scheme. This scheme will remain valid till 31 March 2024.
SBI We care
Only senior citizens can invest in SBI's SBIWeCare Special Deposit Scheme. In this scheme, senior citizens get higher returns for a period of 5 to 10 years. The last date to invest in SBI WeCare is March 31, 2024. SBI is giving 0.50 percent more return to senior citizens. Regular FD interest rates vary between 3.50 percent and 7.50 percent for tenures of 7 days to 10 years. The bank gives a return of 7.50 percent on SBI Wecare Special FD.
SBI Green Rupee Term Deposit
Under the Green Deposit Scheme, senior citizens can earn 7.15 percent returns on tenures of 1111 days and 1777 days. The bank is giving a return of 7.40 percent on retail deposits for 2222 days. Regular customers can earn 6.65 percent on a tenure of 1111 days and 1777 days. The bank is offering 6.40 percent on retail deposits for a tenure of 2222 days. The scheme is available through the branch network, and will soon be made available through other digital channels such as YONO and Internet Banking services (INB).

Minors and NRIs cannot invest in the SBI Best Term Deposit Scheme. Under SBI Best Fixed Deposit, the bank offers 7.4 percent interest for a tenure of two years. The interest rate for one year is 7.10 percent. Senior citizens get 0.50 percent more interest. Senior citizens will get 7.9 percent interest on deposits maturing in two years. They will get a 7.6 percent interest rate in the bank for one year. For retail customers, the minimum deposit amount will be Rs 15.01 lakh and the minimum amount can go up to Rs 2 crore under SBI Best Fixed Deposit. The bank has allowed bulk deposits under SBI Best Term Deposit. The deposit amount can be between Rs 2 crore to Rs 5 crore.
SBI Annuity Scheme
Investment in the SBI Annuity Scheme has to be made only once. After which the customer is given the principal amount along with interest every month. This interest is calculated based on compounding on the amount remaining in the account every three months. The interest received in the SBI Annuity Scheme is equal to FD.
