
New Delhi: Now all gas consumers will have to do e-KYC to get LPG subsidy. In this, consumers who do not get e-KYC done may stop getting subsidy.
All gas agencies have been instructed to do so. Apart from this, Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal, operator of gas agencies, has said that all subsidized domestic gas consumers will have to go to the gas agency with a photocopy of their Aadhar card and get their e-KYC done through biometrics.

This move is expected to improve access to subsidies for consumers, making the process even safer and easier.
E-KYC will be done through biometrics.
Gas agency director Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal said that domestic gas subsidy consumers will have to get e-KYC done through biometrics by taking a photocopy of their Aadhar card.
He said that gas consumers who do not complete e-KYC will not get consumer subsidy. Biometric work runs from 11 am to 5 pm. At present, the agency is doing KYC. This will soon be implemented in all agencies.
On Monday, M/s Major Yogendra, the gas seller of Bharat in the city, said that from November 25, e-KYC of all consumers has started through biometric. E-KYC will continue till December 15. So that the e-KYC biometric system of all domestic gas consumers can be completed as soon as possible, more than half a dozen employees have been deployed for this work.
