Fixed deposit is a means offered by banks which has emerged as a very safe way of investment. Customers are liking it a lot because there is no risk in it but the returns on investing in it are also excellent.

In order to provide maximum benefits to the customers, banks have also increased the interest rates available through the scheme. Many banks are also launching new FD schemes. One such FD scheme has been launched by State Bank of India, namely SBI Amrit Kalash Scheme, from which investors are getting excellent interest. One has to invest in this scheme for 400 days. However, now only 24 days are left to invest in this scheme.

Amrit Kalash Scheme of State Bank of India is very popular among the customers. After launching this scheme, the bank has extended its last date several times in view of its popularity. Till now this scheme has been extended thrice. This scheme was first launched on 12 April 2023. After this, the deadline of the scheme was extended from 23 June 2023 to 15 August 2023. After this it was extended till 31 December 2023. Now once again it was extended to 31 March. The last date to apply for this scheme is coming very close, through which customers get huge interest. For this interest, customers have to invest for 400 days. A maximum investment of Rs 2 crore can be made in this scheme.

Senior citizens get more benefits through this scheme of SBI. Through this, customers are given interest at the rate of 7.1 percent. The bank gives 7.6 percent interest to senior citizens. Let us tell you that as soon as this FD matures, the interest and TDS are deducted and deposited in the customer’s account.
