Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given a special gift to women on the occasion of International Women’s Day i.e. on Friday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced that the price of LPG cylinder will now become cheaper by ₹ 100. He had announced this on social media platform one. After the announcement made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the new rates of LPG cylinder have come into effect from March 9, 2024 i.e. Saturday. Now customers purchasing a new cylinder will get the cylinder at a cheaper price of Rs 100.
This price will have to be paid to buy a cylinder
In the national capital Delhi, LPG cylinder was being available to customers for Rs 903. After the Prime Minister’s announcement, its price has now become Rs 803. Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana are being given a subsidy of Rs 300 on every cylinder, along with this it has also been announced that a discount of Rs 100 will be given. In such a situation, the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will get the cylinder for Rs 503 instead of Rs 603.
It is noteworthy that after this announcement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the burden on the pockets of the general public will be less.
