Until this Wednesday, when the Supreme Court set a deadline, the State Bank of India (SBI) has not provided the Election Commission of India (ECI) with the specifics of the electoral bonds that political parties have redeemed.

According to PTI, the State Bank of India (SBI) filed a request with the highest court on Monday, requesting an extension till June 30th to provide information on every electoral bond that has been paid so far.
The supreme court has not yet scheduled a hearing on the SBI’s request.
A five-judge constitution bench led by Chief Justice of India (CJI) D Y Chandrachud invalidated the electoral bonds program last month and ordered the SBI to provide information on each bond that the political parties had redeemed.
By March 6, the poll panel should receive the information, which should include the date of encashment and the denomination of the bonds.
Additionally, the court ordered that by March 13, the Election Commission (EC) post the data that the SBI had supplied on its official website.
The SBI had argued in its plea before the supreme court that it would take a lot of time to get information from “each silo” and match one silo’s information to another.
