SBI Green FD: Guidelines for the green deposit aspect were issued by RBI i.e. Reserve Bank of India to fulfill the objective of developing a green finance ecosystem in India and financing green activities.

What is SBI Green FD
Any SBI customer can start investing in SBI Green FD with a minimum of Rs 1000 while there is no limit on the maximum investment. For investment, customers are given the option to make FD of 1111 days, 1777 days, and 2222 days.
- The bank is offering 6.65 percent interest to general customers making FD of 1111 days, while 7.15 percent interest is being offered to senior citizens.
- If you get an FD of Rs. 1777, then as a common citizen you will get 6.65 percent interest while a senior citizen will get 7.15 percent interest.
- The bank is giving 6.40 percent interest to the general public on FD of 2222 days whereas the interest rate for senior citizens is 7.40 percent.
