After a video of the actor interacting with the winners went viral online, internet users speculated that Sushmita seemed to have ignored newly crowned Miss Universe India Kaziah Liz Mejo while on stage.
However, the pageant has now shared a picture of Sushmita Sen with Kaziah and the other newly crowned winners on Instagram. The post appears to put the speculation surrounding any tiff between the two to rest.
The image featured the actor dressed in a black gown. She is seen standing alongside Miss Universe India 2026 winner Kaziah Liz Mejo and runners-up Vaishnavi Ganesh, Anushri Satavlekar, Tejaswini Shrivastava and Anubha Vashisth.
