Mangrulpir: In the chess and yogasana competition being held under school sports competition 2026-27, S. R. The students of the convent performed and competed for the district level competition in various age groups. Purva Pradeep Gawarguru, Navya Ravindra Surve, Jagruti Gulab Jadhav, Ayush Pradeep Gawarguru and Partha Chandu Dhengale were selected for district level chess competition for 17 years age group. Also, Trisha Deepak Jaibhaye, Mayuri Bharat Kale got admission in district level chess competition for 14 years age group. While for the 14-year-old Yogasana competition, Arnav Himmat Panbhare, Rohan Satish Khade, Sai Suresh Gawande, Shreya Deepak Musale and Manaswi Yadav Devere were selected for the district level competition.

Students excelled in these competitions with consistent practice, concentration, discipline, confidence and skill. In chess, students proved their mettle by showing tactics, patience and decisiveness, while in yoga competition, they showcased balance, flexibility, precision and confidence. Guidance of school teachers, regular practice and encouragement of parents were important behind this success of students. Director of the institute Uddhav Raut Principal of all the students Shital Raut appreciated the students and wished them good luck for the next competition.

This selection is a matter of pride for the students as well as the school and it is hoped that they will continue the tradition of success in the district level competition as well.
