How to see if your card is active or inactive?

• Go to MahaFood portal First of all open the site rcms.mahafood.gov.in on mobile.
• There you will see the option 'Know Your Ration Card' or 'Know Your Ration Card', click on it.
• Enter your 12 digit ration card number and fill the captcha below.
• You will get the status of your card immediately after submission.
• If Active is written there, there is no tension. But if it shows Suspended or Inactive, then the card is closed.
• How to activate the closed card at home?

Don't panic if the card is closed. There are three easy ways to do it.

3rd way – If not available on mobile, go directly to your nearest Sarkar Seva Kendra or CSC Center. Just carry Aadhaar Card and Ration Card there. They take your thumb and do KYC in the system instantly. It is a 5 minute job.

One important thing –

Suppose you check on the site and it shows 'Deleted' or Canceled forever, then there is no point in doing KYC. For that you have to apply for a new card. Download Form 14 from MahaFood site and fill it and submit it online. Once you do KYC the card is not activated immediately. The system takes 24 to 48 hours to update the data. So don't do it on the day of the festival, do it now two days before, so that the festival will get both grain and joy ration on time.
