Tezzbuzz Desk – Amid the record-breaking success of the film 'Hanuman Ansh' based on the life of Neem Karauli Baba, its writer and director Vishal Chaturvedi has announced his next project. On the special occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Vishal Chaturvedi and Mahavir Jain Films announced their next film 'Rambola'. This film will be based on the life of the great poet and saint Goswami Tulsidas.
The film 'Rambola' will be jointly produced by Mahavir Jain, Vishal Chaturvedi, Amit Upadhyay and Raghuvendra Singh. Like 'Hanuman Ansh', Vishal Chaturvedi will also handle the responsibility of writing and directing the story of this film.
Announcing the film, the makers wrote on social media, “On this special day, with the blessings of Bappa, with utmost humility and gratitude, we announce the immortal story of Goswami Tulsidas 'Rambola'.”
'Hanuman Ansh' continues to earn well at the box office
Vishal Chaturvedi's film 'Hanuman Ansh' is continuously performing well at the box office. The film has created its own special identity in Hindi cinema. According to reports, the film, which started its journey with an initial earning of just Rs 10 lakh, collected Rs 22.50 crore on the sixth Sunday.
The worldwide collection of the film has crossed Rs 268 crore. Its earnings momentum is still intact and its figures are expected to increase further in the coming days.
Who was Goswami Tulsidas?
Goswami Tulsidas was a great poet and saint of the 16th century. He is best known for his famous work 'Ramcharitmanas'. 'Ramcharitmanas' written in Awadhi language is a popular form of the story of Lord Ram, which played an important role in spreading the devotion and ideals of Ram to the common people.
The life of Goswami Tulsidas, his spiritual journey and his deep faith in Lord Rama have been an important part of Indian literature and culture. Now preparations are being made to show his inspiring journey on the big screen through the film 'Rambola'.
Currently the film 'Rambola' is in pre-production stage. No official information has been revealed by the makers yet regarding its star cast, shooting start date and release date.
