Technology Desk: Redmi has confirmed the launch date of its new Redmi Note 17 Pro Series in India. The company will launch this series in the Indian market on September 15. The company can launch two models in this series, which include Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max.
Battery up to 10,000mAh
The most special feature of the series may be its big battery. Redmi Note 17 Pro is expected to have a 9,000mAh battery, while Redmi Note 17 Pro Max can be given a 10,000mAh battery. Both phones are likely to support fast charging up to 100W. According to the company, this will be the first series of Redmi in which such a large capacity battery will be used.
1.5K AMOLED display
A 6.83 inch AMOLED display can be given in the phone. It is expected to support 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness of the display can be up to 3500 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 can be provided to protect the screen. Information about IP69K rating in the series has also been revealed, due to which the phone can provide better protection from water and dust.
Processor and Software
Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset can be found in Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. At the same time, Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor is expected to be provided in Redmi Note 17 Pro. Both smartphones can get up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The phones may run on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
The camera will also be powerful
Talking about the camera, a 50MP main camera can be provided in the phone with OIS support. An 8MP ultra-wide camera can be available with it. A 32MP front camera can be provided for selfie and video calling. Redmi Note 17 Pro Series has already been launched in the global market.
