She shocked the world with a dress that had been in her wardrobe for three years. The 'revenge dress' of Princess Diana, the daughter-in-law of the British royal family, is now up for auction. On a June 1994 evening on Doordarshan, Prince Charles directly admitted that he could not be faithful to his marital relationship! On that day, the world was shocked to see Diana wearing a black off-shoulder dress. And that dress became 'Revenge Dress'. Three decades later, the dress is going to be auctioned in December.
It is known that the designer of this famous dress was Christina Stambolian. Diana had her own doubts about the dress. He thought, this dress is very brave as a British princess! And so even though he bought that dress, he left it in the wardrobe. But he appeared later that day to attend a dinner at London's Serpentine Gallery. And then it all started with that dress. Diana brought the off-shoulder dress to the practice, appearing in this dress on the day her husband confessed to his adultery. Its name is 'Revenge Dress'.
But it wasn't just about the dress. The accessories she chose to go with the outfit also conveyed a 'vengeful message'. He even wore his wedding gift that evening. Princess Diana accessorized her outfit with black heels, a clutch bag and an eye-catching choker around her neck. Reportedly, the choker was made from an antique brooch studded with diamonds and sapphires—given to him as a wedding gift by the 'Queen Mother' herself.

Proceeds from the auction were donated to various charities working on breast cancer and AIDS. Diner's 'revenge dress' will be auctioned again in December.
