Flood of faith on Chhathi, devotees gathered till late in the stores

Tilhar-Shahjahanpur. On the occasion of Chhathi after Lord Krishna's Janmashtami, the colors of faith were seen in the city and rural areas on Thursday. Stores were organized at various places. Crowds of devotees started arriving at Bhandara sites since morning. The devotees accepted the Prasad and prayed to Lord Krishna for happiness, peace and prosperity of the family.

Bhandara was organized by Ashok Rastogi, Vaibhav Rastogi, Saurabh Rastogi and Saurabh Gupta at Rastogi Dharamshala in the city. Here the organizers distributed Prasad to the devotees with devotion. A large number of people reached the Bhandara and accepted the Prasad. During this time the atmosphere remained devotional with the slogans of Jai Shri Krishna and Jai Kanhaiya Lal.

Apart from this, bhandars were also organized at Geeta Mandir in Kunwarganj, Punjabi Colony, Ghodi Wale Baba Mandir in Nizamganj. In various villages of the area including Fatehpur, Gasra, devotees and organizers organized Bhandaras and distributed Prasad to the people. The process of arrival of devotees continued till late evening at many places.

The organizers said that serving the people by organizing a Bhandara on the occasion of Lord Krishna's Chhathi is not only a social responsibility but a religious belief. Such events work to increase love, brotherhood and mutual harmony in the society. On the occasion of Chhathi, religious enthusiasm was seen throughout the day in the entire city and rural areas. A large number of people including children, women and elderly people took Prasad in the stores.
