Kuldeep Yadav In County Championship: Indian team’s star chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav spread such magic with his balls in the County Championship of England that the opposing team completely bowed down. Kuldeep recorded the best performance of his first class career by taking 4 wickets in the first innings of the match and 6 wickets in the second innings and took a total of 10 wickets for 120 runs in the match. For the first time in his first class career, he achieved the feat of taking 10 wickets in a match, due to which Yorkshire defeated Essex badly.

Essex surrenders before Kuldeep Yadav

In this match, Yorkshire made a strong score of 390 runs in the first innings, after which the bowler made the match one-sided. In response to this score, Essex’s first innings, which came to bat, was reduced to just 171 runs. During this, Hill took 3 wickets for 12 runs and Kuldeep Yadav sent 4 batsmen to the pavilion for 70 runs in 20 overs. In such a situation, after gaining a huge lead, Yorkshire forced Essex to play follow-on.

Essex’s start in the second innings was like a nightmare. George Hill gave a shock by dismissing Dean Elgar and Tom Westley in the first 9 overs. Even though Kuldeep missed the hat-trick, he achieved his third success by getting Luke Benkenstein caught at first slip. After this, Kuldeep made George Bell, Zaman Akhtar and Sam Cook his victims.

Yorkshire’s place in Division One almost confirmed

With this one-sided and explosive victory, Yorkshire has collected 22 points. This is their fourth win in 12 matches, giving them a safe distance from the bottom and almost ensuring they will remain in Division One of the County Championship for next season. On the other hand, after the sixth defeat of the season, the threat of relegation has deepened on Essex. The Yorkshire team will now host title contenders Somerset at Headingley next week.
