The Chief Minister said in the Assembly that Jadavpur University will get a grant of Rs 1300 crore but those who talk about breaking India will be cut into pieces.

Said these things to the staff of Jadavpur University

While presenting the amendment bill in the Bengal Assembly to facilitate transfer of teaching and non-teaching staff between universities, CM Shubhendu said that through the proposed law, so-called Pandits will be sent to new institutions. They will benefit from this. The Chief Minister said that this bill will create a balance between the autonomy of institutions and accountability towards the government. This will not have any impact on PhD supervision and projects. CM further said that whoever is not happy with the provisions of the bill. He can leave his job.

CM's statement on Dhirendra Shastri

Regarding the murder of former Jadavpur University Vice Chancellor Gopal Sen in the 1970s, the CM said that if needed, the government can form a panel to investigate the incident. Along with this, on the controversial statement of Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Shastri, the CM said that he will direct the Kolkata Police to arrest those people who had burnt the pictures of the religious leader during the recent protests by Congress workers.

There was a dispute in Jadavpur University

Let us tell you that recently there was a clash between leftist student groups and ABVP in Jadavpur University, after which the CM officials are aggressive regarding the university. On Wednesday, the CM led a 3 km long 'Gerua Samman Yatra' (Saffron Honor March) from Golpark and addressed the people at the 8B bus stand outside the campus.

Subhendu Adhikari took a big decision as soon as he became CM, made Vande Mataram mandatory in all the schools of West Bengal.
