How much subsidy will you get for installing solar panels?

Under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, you will receive separate subsidies from both the central and Bihar governments based on the capacity of the solar panels installed on your roof:

1 kW system: ₹30,000 from the Centre and ₹10,000 from the Bihar government—a total subsidy of ₹40,000.
2 kW system: ₹60,000 from the Centre and ₹20,000 from the Bihar government—a total subsidy of ₹80,000.
3 kW or higher: ₹78,000 from the Centre and ₹20,000 from the Bihar government—a total subsidy of up to ₹98,000.
