Patna. There is news of relief for lakhs of beneficiaries of Bihar's social security pension. The state government has sent the pension amount of August 2026 to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through DBT. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary transferred the pension amount through remote during a program organized in Munger on Thursday.
This month, ₹1,100 has been sent to the account of every eligible beneficiary under social security pension. According to the government, about 105.68 lakh beneficiaries have been paid as installments for the month of August. For this, a total amount of ₹ 1,233.87 crore was transferred directly to the bank accounts.
How to check whether pension has come or not
If you are also a beneficiary of social security pension, then you can easily find out whether the money has reached your account or not. If your mobile number is linked to your bank account, you can get a message about the amount arriving. Apart from this, payment information can also be obtained by updating the passbook. Beneficiaries can also confirm the deposit of pension amount in their account by visiting their bank branch.
With the government making payment directly into the accounts through DBT, it is becoming easier for the beneficiaries to receive the pension amount.
