New Delhi. Many important revelations have been made in the NIA charge sheet in the blast case that took place near the Red Fort in Delhi in November 2025 last year. According to the charge sheet, it was a suicide blast and the i20 car in which the blast took place was used as a bomb laden with explosives. Accused Dr. Umar Nabi was present in the car and he was the mastermind of this attack. The charge sheet also states that the command mechanism found near the blasted car is evidence that the IED was activated in a controlled manner. There are names of 13 accused in this charge sheet.
According to the charge sheet, 87 photographs have been found from the pen drive of accused Dr. Shaheen Saeed. These have photos of Dr. Muzammil Shakeel and Shaheen with AK-47, pistol and magazine. All these accused were associated with Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) and AQIS. Investigations by two different forensic labs have confirmed that the explosive used in the blast is TATP. TATP is also known as 'Mother of Satan'. Apart from this, presence of ammonium nitrate has also been found in the investigation. It is possible that it may have been used to increase the explosive potential of TATP.
Remote-control mechanisms were also used to operate the IED from a distance. Acetone, hydrogen peroxide and hydrochloric acid were also recovered from the possession of the accused. NIA has also mentioned a book named 'Lone Mujahid Pocket Book/How to Become an Assassin' in its charge sheet. According to the investigating agency, this is a manual to AQAP and it contains guidelines to explosives, weapons and covert operations. The accused were allegedly using the information given in this book.
