Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi participated in a high-level roundtable discussion with the Indian Business & Professional Group (IBPG) today in Abu Dhabi as part of the ongoing Odisha UAE Investors’ Meet.
The strategic interaction focused heavily on deepening economic cooperation, boosting exports, and streamlining bilateral trade between Odisha and the UAE. Discussions highlighted high-potential sectors such as food processing, seafood, turmeric, and ginger exports, alongside contract manufacturing opportunities for top UAE brands. Additionally, the meeting explored structured avenues for deploying highly skilled professionals from Odisha to meet growing industrial demands in the Gulf region.
Prominent Odisha-based enterprises with an established UAE footprint, including Ruchi, Farrm B, and B-one, actively participated in the deliberations alongside IBPG President Rajiv Shah. The initiative forms part of Odisha’s broader strategy to showcase its investment-ready ecosystem and build long-term economic partnerships in the Middle East.
