New Delhi: The mood of the weather is going to change once again. The new low pressure area forming in the North Bay of Bengal and its adjoining areas is going to accelerate the progress of monsoon in a large part of the country. Due to this new movement of winds, there will be torrential rains, thunder and lightning in the states of Eastern, Central and North India for the next few days. Considering the seriousness of the situation, the Meteorological Department has issued warnings for many areas.

Stormy phase in eastern India and coastal areas

The most direct and intense impact of this seasonal movement arising in the Bay of Bengal will be seen on Odisha, where there is a possibility of extremely heavy rain for three days between September 9 and 11.

Meanwhile, in some parts of West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar adjoining the coastal plains of Ganga, water showers will bring both relief and trouble. There will be seasonal disturbances in Andaman and Nicobar Islands throughout the week.

Shadow of rain will deepen in Central India

The gathering of clouds is also becoming stronger in the states of Central India. Torrential rains are expected in Chhattisgarh, Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh between September 10 and 13. The extent of rain will increase significantly in the areas of Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha from the middle of the week. There will be widespread rainfall over East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha during 11 to 14 September, while heavy rains may affect life in Western Madhya Pradesh between 12 to 15 September. During this period, there is full possibility of storm and lightning.

Somewhere there is relief and somewhere there is trouble in North India

Different colors of weather will be seen in the plains and hilly areas of North India. Cloud movement with scattered showers will continue over Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh during September 9 to 15. However, the impact of rain will be more severe in the hilly states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh between September 11 and 15. There has been a warning of heavy rainfall with lightning and intense thunderstorm in Uttarakhand, while heavy rain may be recorded at some places in the plains on September 14 and 15.

A series of rains in the north-eastern states

Monsoon activity will show full results in Northeast India. There will be heavy rain in almost all areas in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya during 11 to 15 September. Widespread rainfall will continue over states like Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura between September 9 and 13. Overall, while clouds covering a large part of the country will bring down the temperature in the coming days, people in coastal and hilly areas also need to be cautious.
