The prices of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder have remained stable keeping in mind the kitchen budget of common consumers and housewives across the country. According to the latest data released by government oil marketing companies (IOCL, BPCL, HPCL), domestic gas prices remain unchanged in major metros including the national capital Delhi. On September 9, 2026, a 14.2 kg non-subsidized domestic cylinder is available in Delhi at a price of Rs 942. Amidst the fluctuations in the prices of crude oil and LNG in the international energy market, domestic gas consumers are currently getting relief from the direct increase in prices.

LPG prices vary across the four major metros of the country due to differences in local tax (VAT) and transportation costs. Today’s latest rates are as follows:

• New Delhi: ₹942.00

• Mumbai: ₹941.50

• Kolkata: ₹968.00

• Chennai: ₹957.50

Unlike domestic cylinder prices which remained stable, the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder had increased marginally at the beginning of the month, after which it is being sold at ₹ 2,747.50 in Delhi, ₹ 2,701.00 in Mumbai and ₹ 2,884.00 in Kolkata.

Along with this, consumers are required to keep in mind that under the revised guidelines of oil companies, a mandatory minimum interval of 25 days is applicable for re-booking of new cylinders. Customers can make fresh booking through IVRS, WhatsApp or mobile app of the respective oil company from their registered mobile number.
