The team led by captain Harmanpreet Singh will participate in the games to be held in Aichi-Nagoya from September 19 to October 4. Hockey matches will be played in Kakamigahara, about 35 kilometers from Nagoya.

The semi-finals will be held on 01 October and the final on 03 October. India will be eyeing to maintain its dominance in Asia by winning Asian Games gold for the second consecutive time and securing a ticket to the Olympics.
