Google is continuously focusing on making its Gemini AI smarter and more useful. The company has now introduced new voice features for Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Keep, enabling users to perform various tasks by speaking instead of typing. This means everything from finding specific information in emails to drafting documents and creating notes can be done using just your voice.

Google has named these features Gmail Live, Docs Live, and Keep Live. According to the company, the goal of Gemini Voice is to make interacting with these Google apps easier and more conversational.

**Find old emails in minutes with Gmail Live**
If you have years of emails piled up in your Gmail inbox and struggle to locate specific information, Gmail Live can be incredibly useful.

Users can ask Gemini direct questions, such as "What are my flight details?" or "Tell me about upcoming school events." Gemini then scans the information in your inbox to provide the relevant answer. This saves time that would otherwise be spent repeatedly opening old emails and searching for the right message.

**Create documents by speaking with Docs Live**
Docs Live is ideal for those who find it time-consuming to write down their ideas. Users can simply speak their thoughts, and Gemini will organize them into a draft.

If needed, Gemini can pull information from Gmail, Drive, and Chat to include in the document. With user permission, it can also source information from the web. Additionally, the tone of the document can be adjusted as required.
In short, you simply state what needs to be written, and Gemini helps structure and prepare it.

**Create notes and reminders by speaking with Keep Live**
A voice feature has also been added to Google Keep. With Keep Live, users can save ideas, tasks, reminders, or shopping lists by speaking.
For instance, if an idea strikes while you are on the go, you can record it immediately by speaking instead of typing. Gemini will then help organize that information into a structured note or a task list.

Which users will benefit from Gemini Voice?
These new voice features for Gemini are being rolled out to Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers. However, access to 'Docs Live' is currently limited to Pro and Ultra users.

Google has also stated that Workspace business users will receive these features, though the exact rollout date for them has not yet been announced.
With these new features, Google is positioning Gemini not just as an AI that answers questions, but as an assistant for everyday tasks. In the near future, performing various actions in Gmail, Docs, and Keep using only voice commands could become much easier than ever before.
