Delhi Assembly receives bomb threat via email, turns out to be hoax

New Delhi: The Delhi Assembly received a bomb threat via email Tuesday morning, and it was found to be a hoax after a thorough search, police said.
The threat was received at 839 am, following which security agencies were alerted and necessary checks were initiated, they said.
Sources said Assembly Speaker Bijender Gupta received the email.
After an extensive search, nothing suspicious was found.
