Real Madrid will not have to deal with one of Inter Milan’s standout regulars when the two sides meet in their forthcoming clash.
That follows confirmation that Federico Dimarco has been ruled out of the fixture.
Real Madrid are set to begin their latest European campaign on Tuesday night. After suffering their first defeat of the season against Real Betis over the weekend, Los Blancos are scheduled to open their Champions League campaign against Inter Milan.
José Mourinho and his coaching staff are set to be without several important players for the match, with Bernardo Silva, Arda Güler and Rodrygo all unavailable because of either injury or suspension.
However, as mentioned above, Real Madrid are not the only side dealing with absentees ahead of the meeting at the Santiago Bernabéu. According to a report from COPE:
“Inter have already travelled to Madrid for this Tuesday’s match. A squad without Dimarco. The left-back felt discomfort in his knee during Saturday’s match against Napoli.”
