On Tuesday, the price of gold in Delhi's bullion market fell by ₹650 to ₹1,60,250 per 10 grams. Previously, on Friday, gold with 99.9% purity had closed at ₹1,60,900 per 10 grams.

Silver prices remain stable today. According to traders, the price of silver in Delhi's bullion market held steady at ₹2,40,600 per kilogram for the second consecutive trading session.

A decline in gold prices has also been recorded in the futures market. Today, the gold rate dropped by ₹462 to ₹1,52,305 per 10 grams.

How much did silver prices fall?

Silver futures prices also saw a softening on Tuesday. The price for the silver contract for December delivery fell by ₹975 to ₹2,36,683 per kilogram, with a trading volume of 1,512 lots.

According to market analysts, the drop in silver futures prices is due to increased selling by traders. In the international market, the price of silver also fell by approximately 0.63 percent to $65.79 per ounce.

Global market pressure on gold prices is clearly visible. Today, gold fell by about 0.84 percent to $4,492.68 per ounce. Meanwhile, spot gold has fallen by nearly one percent to $4,395.30 per ounce.
