Kanpur, Read. Police have claimed to have exposed the murder of millionaire drug businessman Vineet Minocha, which took place in Kalyanpur police station area last Saturday. According to the police, the businessman was murdered by his former servant out of greed for money at the behest of his daughter-in-law. Police have arrested former servant Vishal Gautam and his associate Rajkishore during the encounter. The daughter-in-law is also being interrogated in this case.

According to the police, Vineet Minocha was associated with the drug business for about 45 years and lived in C-104 flat located on the ground floor of Ratan Arbit. On Saturday night, his son Subrata, daughter-in-law Shalu and six-year-old grandson Shreejay had gone to Yashoda Nagar to attend the party. According to CCTV footage, Vineet closed the shop at around 10:58 pm and reached the flat. After some time, when the son and daughter-in-law returned home, his dead body was found in a bloody condition in the bedroom.

During the investigation of the incident, the police examined CCTV footage, in which two youths were seen entering and exiting the flat. During investigation, a youth was identified as Vishal Gautam, who had previously worked with the businessman. Police started searching for both of them. Meanwhile, the police had an encounter with both the accused, after which they were arrested.

ACP Kalyanpur Dilip Singh said that during the interrogation so far, the accused has told the police that he had murdered the businessman out of greed for money at the behest of his daughter-in-law. According to police sources, the daughter-in-law was angry with her father-in-law for alleged restrictions on her lifestyle, clothes and food habits. Due to this resentment, a conspiracy to murder has come to light.

At present the police is also interrogating the daughter-in-law. Police say that further action will be taken on the basis of facts emerging during interrogation and investigation. After the revelation of the incident, there is discussion in the entire area about the murder.
