Recruitment for Computer Operator posts (under the Advocate General's Office, Uttar Pradesh – Computer Cadre) has been announced, with the application process beginning today, September 7. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and are seeking a government job can submit their applications by the deadline of September 28. After submission, fee adjustments and application corrections will be permitted until October 5, 2026.

**Eligibility for Computer Operator Posts**
To apply for the Computer Operator posts, candidates must possess a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard. Additionally, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institution, along with either a diploma in Computer Science or an 'O' Level certificate from NIELIT, as well as experience working with computer applications.

Furthermore, the candidate's age must be between 21 and 40 years at the time of application. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation. Age calculations will be based on July 1, 2026.

**How ​​to Apply?**
To apply for this recruitment, candidates must first visit the official UPSSSC website (upsssc.gov.in) and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR). Candidates who already have an OTR can apply directly. Subsequently, candidates should navigate to the 'Candidate Registration' section, click the 'Apply' button for this specific recruitment, fill in the required details, and complete the application process. Finally, the prescribed fee must be paid to submit the form, and a printout should be kept for future reference. Candidates from all categories are required to pay a fee of only ₹25, which can be paid online.

**Selection Process**
Candidates will be shortlisted for the main examination based on their normalized PET 2025 scores. For the main examination, candidates numbering 15 times the total vacancies will be invited. A final list of candidates will be released following the main examination. A total of 12 vacant posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Of these, 11 posts are reserved for Computer Operator Grade-A and 1 post for Assistant Computer Operator.

Salary Details
Candidates selected for the Computer Operator Grade-A posts will receive a monthly salary in the range of ₹25,500–₹81,100 (Pay Level 4, Grade Pay 2400), while those selected for the Assistant Computer Operator posts will receive a monthly salary in the range of ₹19,900–₹63,200 (Pay Level 2, Grade Pay 1900).
