Everton hosted Manchester United at the Hill Dickinson Stadium earlier today, hoping to claim a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Toffees began the match on a decent note and went into the half-time interval with the score locked at 0-0.
Bryan Mbeumo broke the deadlock in the 47th minute before Tyrique George pulled Everton level in the 83rd minute with a superb strike. Benjamin Sesko then put his side ahead with a fine header just five minutes later. However, Ainsley Maitland-Niles came up with a dramatic equaliser for Everton in stoppage time, finding the net with an excellent effort. In the end, the contest finished 2-2, with the Toffees earning a last-gasp draw in front of their home supporters.
