Heavy rains have affected normal life in many districts of Bihar. Many places including Munger have flood-like conditions in riverside areas. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rains in many districts for the next two days. According to the Patna weather forecast, heavy rain is likely in Darbhanga, Madhubani, Supaul, Samastipur and Sitamarhi on Monday and Tuesday. Thunderstorms and lightning are likely during this period. Wind gusts of 30-40 kmph are expected in these districts.
The Meteorological Department has announced that heavy rain with thunderstorm is expected in Gopalganj, Siwan and West Champaran districts on September 8. Wind gusts up to 40 km/h (15 mph) are possible. The department also predicts lightning. So, avoid stepping out of your house during rain.
According to the weather department forecast, heavy rain may occur in Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar, Madhepura, Saharsa, Rohtas, Bhabua, Arbad, Arbad, Bhojwal, Bhojpur, Bhojpur districts. Nalanda, Jehanabad, Nawada, Gaya, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura, Begusarai, Jamui, Banka, Khagaria and Bhagalpur.
