Manchester United took on Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium earlier today, hoping to pick up all three points away from home in the Premier League. The Red Devils began reasonably well and went into the half-time interval with the score still locked at 0-0.

Bryan Mbeumo gave the visitors the lead in the 47th minute before Tyrique George levelled for Everton with an excellent finish in the 83rd minute. Benjamin Sesko restored Manchester United’s advantage at 2-1 just five minutes later, but Ainsley Maitland-Niles struck a fine equaliser for the Toffees in injury time. In the end, Michael Carrick’s side had to settle for a disappointing 2-2 draw on the road.

Here is a look at how each Manchester United player performed in the match against the Toffees.

GK: Senne Lammens – 6.5/10

He produced a few important saves over the course of the contest but could do little to prevent either of Everton’s goals this afternoon.

RB: Diogo Dalot – 6/10

Dalot tracked back whenever required in defence and also created two inviting openings in the attacking third.

CB: Harry Maguire – 6.5/10

He came up with several vital clearances at the back.

CB: Lisandro Martinez – 6.5/10

Martinez competed well for loose balls, but he could not keep the opposition forwards quiet after the break.

LB: Luke Shaw – 7.5/10

He made a positive impact at both ends of the pitch and had an assist to show for his efforts.

CM: Youri Tielemans – 6.5/10

Tielemans was unable to shield his backline effectively, though he looked composed in possession.

CM: Kobbie Mainoo – 7/10

He anchored the midfield well and kept the ball moving efficiently for his side in the middle of the park. Mainoo also finished the game with an assist.

RW: Bryan Mbeumo – 7.5/10

Mbeumo put in a strong defensive shift and remained a constant threat in the final third. He netted the opening goal in the 47th minute.

CAM: Bruno Fernandes – 6.5/10

He crafted a few key chances for his teammates and was always willing to have a go at goal himself.

LW: Marcus Rashford – 7/10

Rashford found some promising spaces in the attacking third but was unable to get his name on the scoresheet.

ST: Matheus Cunha – 6.5/10

He made some useful runs through the channels but found it difficult to trouble the opposition goal.

LB: Patrick Dorgu – 6/10

He looked comfortable in possession.

ST: Benjamin Sesko – 6.5/10

Sesko scored with a well-taken header in the 88th minute.
