Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition— Smartphone brand Tecno has launched Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition as part of its first partnership with Italian lifestyle brand Tonino Lamborghini. This new handset is equipped with a sporty look, a large 6,500mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G processor. The rear panel has a red-and-black hexagon pattern and the brand's signature logo.

Design and display: High refresh rate with premium looks

The look of this phone is inspired by the design language of luxury car brands. The back panel has a light reflecting pulse line in the middle with 'Tonino Lamborghini Black' finish. Apart from this, there is Alive Matrix Display on the rear camera island, on which customized 'L' signature and notification lights are available.

Talking about hardware and display features, the phone includes these features:

• Display: 6.78-inch (2,644×1,208 pixels) HyperLux AMOLED display, 144Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness.
• Glass Protection: Corning Gorilla Glass 7i has been provided to protect the screen.
• Processor & Storage: MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, 12GB RAM (up to 24GB virtual RAM expansion), and 512GB onboard storage.
• Operating System: HiOS 16 based on Android 16, with the promise of 2 major Android OS updates and 3 years of security patches.

Camera, battery and connectivity

For photography, the rear of the phone has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700C primary sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) support and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front, there is a 13-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

To power the phone, a 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support is available. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR blaster, and USB Type-C port. The device weighs 189 grams and is 7.39 mm thick.

Price and availability

The company has not yet disclosed the price and sale date of this limited edition model. However, in terms of specs, this phone is similar to the standard Pova 8 Pro 5G that was recently launched in India at a starting price of Rs 49,999.
