Unique fashion of India's representative Nikita Porwal

New Delhi: Ahead of the grand finale of the ongoing Miss World 2026 in Vietnam, India's representative Nikita Porwal has become the talk of the town due to her unique fashion sense. Many of her dresses have received praise on this international stage, but one particular gown has garnered the most attention. The gown is inspired by the historical heritage of the British Royal Family and the famous engagement ring of the late Princess Diana. The 75th grand finale of Miss World 2026 is being held in the beautiful coastal city of Nha Trang, Vietnam. Indian viewers can watch the live telecast of this competition on JioHotstar from 5:30 pm onwards.

Recognition of Indian fashion on the international platform

This Diana-inspired gown is not Nikita's finale look, but is part of the official outfits for her international pageant journey. Her special look for the final round of this competition has been prepared by designer Bhavana Rao. At the recently held 'Dance of the World' round, Nikita wore a black and gold ensemble by designer Taurani, inspired by Madurai's Goddess Meenakshi, which was highly appreciated.

Grand finale organized in Vietnam

Nikita Porwal's journey from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh is not limited to glamor only. Due to her experience in theatre, she has acted in and written over 60 plays. Under Miss World's 'Beauty with a Purpose' pageant, she has worked on 'Project Maati', which focuses on important issues such as health, nutrition, sanitation and primary education of tribal women and children.

Inspired by Princess Diana's engagement ring

This stunning gown of Nikita is designed by renowned designer Saisha Shinde as part of her Couture Fall collection. The highlight of this gown is Princess Diana's blue sapphire engagement ring, which has become a symbol of royal fashion. It was chosen by Diana during her engagement to Prince Charles in 1981, and was made by Crown Jeweler Garrard. The combination of a large oval blue sapphire set in white gold and surrounded by diamonds forms the basis of the color and texture of this gown. After Diana, this iconic ring is now owned by Kate Middleton.
