La Liga heavyweights Barcelona are prepared to approve an expanded sponsorship deal with UAE-based Ohana Real Estate Development and Construction LLC.
According to Mundo Deportivo, and with a vote on the issue scheduled at the Ordinary General Assembly on 19 September, the arrangement linked to the use of the Barça brand in a luxury residential development in the United Arab Emirates is set to run for more than 25 years.
Barcelona’s Camp Nou leadership has already received between €2-3 million as an advance payment, while the ‘majority’ of the money is due to be paid across the next three financial years at a rate of €10 million per year.
In return, the Ohana logo will appear on the back of Barcelona’s shirt for three years starting in 2027. However, this will apply only in domestic competitions. In European matches, the Fundació Barça logo will remain in place.
