Now her father Mukesh Pariyani has started preparing for legal action in the case of the death of 15-year-old Tanvi, who was waiting for surgery in AIIMS for almost 14 years. He says that he will start the process of filing an FIR against the concerned doctors of AIIMS including Dr. Sachin Talwar.
Tanvi's father will return to Delhi on 8 September
Mukesh Pariyani told that he will return to Delhi on Tuesday, September 8 and start the process of filing a complaint with the police. Apart from this, he will also demand justice from Rashtrapati Bhavan, Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Union Health Minister JP Nadda and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
Tanvi died in AIIMS on 1 September
Tanvi died in AIIMS on 1 September. Initially, the cause of his death was said to be hypoxic spell and cardiac arrest. The post mortem process has been completed. The post mortem report will be placed before the high level committee of AIIMS investigating the case.
Examination of medical records from 2012 to 2026
A high-level investigation committee of AIIMS is reviewing the treatment records, OPD details, investigation reports, treatment process and expert opinions to the case from 2012 to 2026. The committee is also investigating the alleged delay in the surgery, the circumstances that emerged during the treatment and the reasons behind Tanvi's death.
Father's allegation – had deposited money and blood in 2014
Mukesh Pariyani alleges that despite depositing blood and money for the surgery in 2014, the operation was not carried out and the dates kept getting postponed. He also claims that even after complaining to the Prime Minister's Office, Dr. Sachin Talwar refused to perform the surgery. Raising the question, he said, “Unless action is taken, what is the use of the committee's investigation?” Now the family is keeping an eye on the police action and the report of the AIIMS investigation committee.
