Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has commenced the admission process for the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry course for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates will be selected for this course based on their NEET UG 2026 scores. This means that candidates who appeared for the NEET UG exam in 2026 are eligible to apply for admission to this course. Eligible candidates can now register via the BHU admission portal.

What is the application deadline?

BHU has clarified that candidates interested in this course must complete their registration by 11:59 PM on September 20, 2026. Candidates who fail to register within the stipulated deadline will not be included in the seat allotment process. Therefore, interested students must complete their applications on time.

Seat allotment to take place in three rounds

BHU will conduct the admission process for this course through a total of three seat allotment rounds. The last date for registration is September 20, 2026. Following this, the first seat allotment list will be released on September 28, 2026. The second list will be released on October 1, 2026, and the third on October 5, 2026. If any seats remain vacant after these three rounds, a list of vacant seats will be released on October 14, 2026, for a mop-up round to fill the remaining vacancies.
