Bihar News: In order to improve the health facilities in Bihar, the state government has started many important facilities in Muzaffarpur. health minister Mr. Nishant During his one-day visit to Muzaffarpur on Thursday Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Center (HBCH&RC) Inaugurated the newly constructed state-of-the-art ICU complex. Along with this he Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) Also inaugurated a 30 bed Special Critical Care Unit.
State-of-the-art ICU complex started in cancer hospital
Health Minister, Unit of Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Muzaffarpur Inaugurated the new ICU complex. The opening of this facility will help in providing better critical care services to cancer patients with severe and complex conditions.
After the inauguration, the Health Minister also inspected the hospital. He took information from doctors and officials about the health services being provided to the patients, treatment system, availability of medicines and expansion of facilities in future. hospital director Dr. Kumar Prabhash Briefed the Minister about the achievements of the institute so far and the growing cancer care needs in North Bihar.
Emphasis on world class cancer treatment near home
Health Minister Shri Nishant said that the Bihar government is continuously strengthening the cancer treatment facilities in the state. Modern cancer treatment facilities are being expanded in Muzaffarpur in collaboration with Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai.
He said that the priority of the government is that Cancer patients of North Bihar should not have to go to other states and big cities for treatment.. All possible support will be provided to Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital to ensure that patients get access to modern cancer treatment and critical care near their homes.
30 bed critical care unit started in SKMCH
After Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Health Minister SKMCH Visited. Here he inaugurated a 30-bed special critical care unit. The new unit will help in providing better and immediate medical care to seriously ill patients.
Not only Muzaffarpur, but also the patients coming for treatment from different districts of North Bihar will get its benefit. The Minister inspected the health services available in the hospital and took information about the treatment system, resources and facilities of the patients.
Muzaffarpur is becoming a major center of cancer care in North Bihar.
