Pakistani model, actress, and digital creator Mahnoor Sheikh has spoken candidly about an unpleasant professional experience she says she had with actress Sana Javed during the filming of a television commercial.

Mahnoor Sheikh has been associated with the Pakistani entertainment industry for several years and has appeared in various television projects. She has also made appearances on television talk shows and gained recognition through dramas including Deewar Khwabon Mein Mili, Nalaiq, and Mohabbat Reza Reza, which aired on Hum TV. She is currently receiving appreciation for her performance in the popular drama Deewar.

Recently, Mahnoor appeared as a guest on Nadia Khan’s morning show Rise and Shine, where she discussed several aspects of her career and addressed an Instagram post she had previously shared concerning Sana Javed.

During the conversation, Mahnoor explained the circumstances behind her decision to speak publicly about what she described as Sana’s attitude toward other people working on a project.

According to Mahnoor, the incident took place while the two actresses were working together on a television commercial. Sana was reportedly the main lead in the advertisement, while Mahnoor and two other girls were playing the roles of her friends.

Mahnoor recalled that the production team had arranged a shared vanity room for the actresses. Although the room had a partition separating the spaces, Mahnoor said Sana was uncomfortable sharing the room with the other girls.

She claimed that when Sana entered the vanity area and saw them, she immediately stepped back and asked the team to move them elsewhere.

Mahnoor recalled Sana allegedly saying that she could not sit with them and wanted to stay alone. Following the request, the production team reportedly moved Mahnoor and the other actresses to a different room.

However, Mahnoor said the alternative room did not have air conditioning, making the situation particularly uncomfortable for them.

She further alleged that Sana continued to behave rudely toward them whenever she arrived on set. Mahnoor acknowledged that Sana was the leading actress in the commercial but said she did not believe that professional status justified treating other members of the cast disrespectfully.

The actress also pointed out that the commercial was filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period when health and safety restrictions affected everyone working in the entertainment industry.

According to Mahnoor, the circumstances were not unique to Sana, as the entire cast and crew had to deal with the challenges created by the pandemic. She therefore felt that the situation did not provide a reason for treating the other actresses differently.

Mahnoor said she eventually decided to share her experience on Instagram because she believed she had not done anything wrong by speaking about what happened to her. She maintained that she was simply sharing her personal experience rather than attempting to create unnecessary controversy.

She also claimed that after she spoke about the incident, several other people associated with the entertainment industry came forward and discussed their own experiences with Sana’s alleged behaviour.

Mahnoor’s comments have once again sparked discussion among entertainment fans, particularly about professionalism and workplace behaviour within the Pakistani television industry.

While Sana Javed has not been presented with Mahnoor’s account as an established fact, the remarks have attracted considerable attention because of Sana’s prominent position in the industry. The discussion also highlights how interactions between established stars and supporting performers can become a topic of public interest when personal experiences are shared openly.

Mahnoor’s appearance on the morning show has therefore brought renewed attention to her earlier Instagram remarks, with viewers debating her account and the broader issue of maintaining respect and professionalism on entertainment sets.
