Sierra Leone: The series of attacks between America and Iran has increased again. The US attacked Iran’s rocket launchers on an island in the Strait of Hormuz. America said that Iran was planning to use them to lay mines in the waterways. Along with this, Trump has proposed to change the name of Strait of Hormuz to ‘Trump Strait’ amid military tension. After this, the Iranian Embassy in Sierra Leone has posted a taunting message, challenging ‘Uncle Sam’ (Donald Trump) to come to Iran.
The post read, “Habibi (Uncle Sam), come to Iran!” It is also accompanied by a 35-second animated video of a 3D map of the Strait of Hormuz, in which the ‘Minesweeper’ game is being played.
Trump had warned Iran
Only last week, America had completed the removal of marine mines from the international shipping route of Hormuz. US President Donald Trump had said that Iran has been warned that if any ship or boat lays new mines, it will be destroyed. In response, Iran attacked two US military bases in Jordan with ballistic missiles, causing significant damage. However, the Jordanian military said it had intercepted eight missiles.
America had threatened Iran
In its second attack this month, US forces struck Iranian military targets, while Iran retaliated across the region despite Trump’s warnings. He wrote on social media, “If the failed state of Iran responds to this completely justified attack, they will be hit even harder, but it will not be the biggest attack of them all; that is yet to come, and when that happens, there will be very little left of the Islamic Republic of Iran!”
It has been more than six months since the ongoing conflict between America and Iran. The main reason for this conflict is Trump’s declared objective under which he wants to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
