LPG Cylinder Price Today: Before booking LPG cylinder, know the latest rate, what is the price today in your city?

LPG Prices Today: There were some changes in fuel prices for homes and businesses in early September 2026. The prices of commercial LPG cylinders increased, while the prices of domestic LPG remained stable. At the same time, after the monthly review of gas distributors, the prices of CNG and PNG increased in big cities. These changes are happening at a time when the government is trying to reduce dependence on imported cooking gas, secure supply from alternative sources, increase the availability of domestic LPG and expand the scope of piped natural gas (PNG) connections. Today on 4th September there is no change in the rate of LPG in India.

To reduce the subsidy burden, the government has approved an incentive scheme for city gas distributors to increase domestic PNG connections from September 1, 2026. States and Union Territories have been asked to provide administrative support at the district level to expedite the process of switching from LPG to piped gas. Meanwhile, due to supply disruptions in West Asia, India is becoming increasingly dependent on America for its LPG and LNG supplies.
