Kanpur: During the BSF examination on Wednesday in Chakeri area of ​​Kanpur, students created a ruckus alleging paper leak and irregularities in the examination. The examination was being conducted at MD Infotech Center located in Shyam Nagar, which was to be held in three shifts, but during the first shift itself, students raised questions on the arrangements of the centre.

Students gave answers after seeing on mobile

Students allege that after the commencement of the examination, they were asked for information regarding the paper set two to three times. Apart from this, computer systems shut down many times. Some students also claimed that during the time their system was not working, the examination of one or two other candidates continued. Students alleged that some candidates were solving questions by looking at mobile phones.

After these allegations, the anger of the candidates present at the center increased and they started creating ruckus. On receiving the information, police reached the spot and tried to pacify the students. However, the situation remained tense for a long time. During this, the students also raised slogans in front of the police and demanded answers on the alleged irregularities in the examination.

Seeing the matter escalating, the police administration talked to the officials of the examination center. After this, a notice of cancellation of the examination of all three shifts was put up outside the centre. However, the students demanded to be informed in writing about the cancellation of the exam.

Complaint of irregularities in examination: ADCP Shiva Singh

ADCP Shiva Singh told that BSF examination was being conducted at the centre. Some candidates complained about irregularities in the examination, after which there was an uproar. He told that at present the examination has been canceled and now it will be conducted again on September 18. According to ADCP, initial information has revealed a fault in the electrical system of the centre, due to which many computer systems were down. He said that information to the next date of examination has also been released on the BSF website. Police say that the allegations made by the students including paper leak and other allegations are being investigated and only after investigation it will be clear what kind of irregularities actually took place during the examination.
