Xiaomi India has hinted at the soon launch of Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G by sharing an official post on social media platform X. Along with this, the landing page of the phone has also been made live on the official website of Xiaomi India. However, the company has not yet revealed its exact launch date and official price of the Indian variant.

Display, processor and performance: what are the main features?
Xiaomi launched this handset in select global markets in August. It is expected that the specifications of the global variant will be seen in the Indian model also. The phone comes with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits peak brightness.
For performance, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. This device comes with 8GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. This new smartphone works on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. It has got IP66 and IP68 rating for protection against dust and water.
Camera setup and 10,000mAh powerful battery
For photography enthusiasts, its rear panel has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. There is a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The special thing is that both its front and rear cameras can record 4K video at 30fps.
The biggest highlight of the phone is its 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports 100W fast wired charging. For connectivity, it has been provided with features like 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC.
Global price and potential situation in Indian market
In Japan, the price of 8GB + 256GB variant of this handset has been kept at JPY 79,980 (approximately ₹ 47,900) and the price of 8GB + 512GB model has been kept at JPY 99,980 (approximately ₹ 59,900). This smartphone is available in Black, Cloudbrush and Purple color options. Its final price and availability in the Indian market will be announced during the company's official event.
