Young people aspiring for a government job with the Railways have a golden opportunity. Southern Railway has announced a recruitment drive to fill 4,471 apprenticeship vacancies. Online applications are now open and will be accepted until the deadline of September 27, 2026. **Eligibility: 10th Pass and ITI Holders**
To apply for these apprenticeship positions, candidates must have passed the 10th, 12th, or ITI examinations, depending on the specific trade or post. Additionally, the candidate's age must be at least 15 years, and the maximum age should not exceed 22 or 24 years (depending on the post). Age relaxation for the upper age limit will be provided to reserved category candidates in accordance with the rules.

**Application Fee**
Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹100. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, as well as female candidates from all categories, are exempt from the application fee.

On the new page, click on the registration link and enter the required details.

**Selection Based on Merit**
There will be no written exam or interview for this recruitment. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their educational qualifications and called solely for document verification. Those who successfully clear the document verification stage will be appointed to the vacant positions. Under this recruitment, selected freshers will receive a monthly stipend of ₹8,200; 12th-pass freshers will receive ₹9,600 per month; and Ex-ITI candidates will receive ₹9,600 per month.
