The Mohan Yadav government has renamed the university after Rajiv Gandhi. Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal will now be divided into three parts.
The Mohan Bhagwat government renamed Rajiv Gandhi University and split it into three new technical universities. Bhopal, Ujjain and Jabalpur will get these three new technical universities. The cabinet approved the bifurcation of RGPV.
PWD Minister Rakesh Singh has issued a statement in this regard. He said Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, which has 585 institutes running 13 courses, has more than 383,000 students. For geographical location and ease of use, we have engineering colleges, all of which have ample land. He informed that currently, three universities of technology have been announced in place of RGPVV. As indicated by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, these universities have different names. They will be known as University of Technology and Skills.
