UP Polls: AIMIM Leader Aseem Waqar May Join Congress, Sources Say

AIMIM leader Aseem Waqar may join the Congress ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, in what could be a major setback for Asaduddin Owaisi's party, according to sources.
Sources said Waqar could join the Congress along with his entire team at 10 am on Wednesday in Delhi.

There has been no formal confirmation from the Congress regarding the development so far.
However, according to sources, Waqar may join the Congress on Wednesday.
The reported move comes ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections and could prove to be a setback for Owaisi's All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM).
