A major update regarding teacher recruitment in Bihar has emerged. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has temporarily postponed the online application process for the TRE 4.0 recruitment drive. According to the Commission, the application process was scheduled to begin on September 1, 2026, but has been deferred due to procedural changes.
It is worth noting that 32,388 teachers are to be recruited in the state under TRE 4.0. Consequently, lakhs of aspirants were awaiting the opening of the application window; however, candidates will now have to wait a little longer.
A notification issued by the BPSC states that the application process has been postponed and that a new date will be announced soon.
