If you live in Delhi and use DTC or Cluster buses to commute to work, college, or school, there is good news for you. The deadline for women to obtain the Pink Saheli Smart Card—which allows for free bus travel—has been extended from August 31 to September 17, 2026.
If you haven't obtained the Pink Saheli Smart Card yet, you can now get it made by September 17 and avail the benefit of free bus travel. After September 17, it will become mandatory to show the Pink Saheli Smart Card and tap it on the machine to travel for free on buses.
Can the Pink Saheli Smart Card be obtained online?
If you wish to get the smart card made online from the comfort of your home, please note that the facility is currently available only offline. Women must visit a designated center to complete the entire process.
Where can you get the smart card made?
To travel for free on buses, you must obtain the card. More than 50 authorized centers have been set up across the capital to issue these cards. In addition to Deputy Commissioner and SDM offices, these centers are also located near DTC depots, where women can apply for the card.

How is the Pink Saheli Smart Card made?
- Pink Saheli Smart Cards are issued between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
- You can visit a center on any day of the week during these hours to get the card made.
- You need to visit the counter at a Deputy Commissioner or SDM office and present your Aadhaar Card.
- Verification will then be conducted using biometrics or an OTP sent to your mobile number. Once the entire process is complete, your photograph will be taken at the center itself.
- After the procedure is finished, the Pink Saheli Smart Card will be handed over to you right then and there.
